Hello all,
I'm a Ving Tsun Student of 5 years of training. I look forward to discussing the Forever Springtime Fist with you all.
My lineage is thus:
Yip Man
Yip Chun
Samuel Kwok
Shabir Akhtar
I trained with Sifu Shabir in Leeds for 2 years and have been training all over the world since. I lived in Japan for 3 years and taught myself the knive form as I could not find any classes in my local area (Chinese martial arts are not considered very highly in Japan!).
I also attended a few of SiGung Kwok's seminars and found his interpretation of Wing Chun to be the closest to that taught by Yip Man originally. I would therefore consider my self to be a practitioner of Yip Man / Samuel Kwok Wing Chun.
Now I live in Canada and study under a student of Shu Shon Tin. I do also, however conduct my own classes with a growing student base.
