Hi guys; I have just started Wing Chun and just about getting to grips with the first form can't wait for my practice to pay off in the next few years. I have joined a wing chun in Manchester and the concepts in training seems completly different from master samuel kwoks' training method sequence, where you train up in levels I would so very much like to be trained by sifu samuel kwok I am reading his book mastering wing chun it is fantastic. The only problem I have which I am so dissapointed about is that he holds classes in lancaster and Blackpool, too far, it's such a shame. Looking at the forum where his students have travelled to China to actually meet with grandmaster IP Chun, I would love to have the opportunity in doing that as well; I am going to work in china probably next year and would be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction in how to meet with IP Chun. Just really loving wing chun. ;D

The VTAA where Ip Chun and Ip Ching - and some others teach is in the Mong Kok area of Kowloon in Hong Kong I think. You can always drop sam Kwok an email.
Who do you learn from in Manchester? Billy Davidson teaches there and he is pretty good so if you not learing from him he would be wort ha visit. also blackpool is prob only an hour drive from Manchester as is Lancaster
