Anyone can come along to train, we have several non-students who train regularily at the club. It may be necessary for you to gain the appropriate insurance from the Lancaster University Societies Union though and also adhere to the society's rules and regulations. If you have any other queries, just ask!

I found last nights class really interesting and people were reawlly freindly. Anyway i think Im deffo gonna keep coming probably on Sundays. Does anyone know how I go about getting some insurance etc?

hi,
the insurance is covered by Lancaster University Student's Union - LUSU - and is obtained by going to the LUSU building underneath spar on campus. you'll have to go sometime in the week during their opening hours, but what you need is a 'purple card'. it costs £10 and allows you to join the society and covers your insurance as a member of the club. once you have your purple card, we can officially sign you up as a member of the club. it's a pain coming to lancaster in the week, especially as you don't live here, but it's an unfortunate formality. If you go on a tuesday before training or something, about 4:30 before they shut, then you won't have to hang around for too long waiting, and don't have to come up specially.
hope this helps, and i'll see you at training.
James.

Yer we still do the DVD's so give us a shout if you want one and ill burn it for you. As for the forms you apparently have to get them online but the page isnt working so dont worrie about it for now so so long as you dont hurt yourself (as the registration covers personal injury insurance)
