I'm going to buy some sparring gloves soon and I wondered if anyone could recommend some to me? I was thinking something along the line of MMA gloves but with a lot more padding, that way I would still have use of my hands for trapping etc.  |

I use Karate mitts, they have lots of padding on top for punches but the palms are free to pin trap and lap sau etc.
There are reasonably similar to the ones above that look good, but have more punch padding but no thumb protection like the above and no specific finger holes.
plus sport karate mitts are only usually about a tenner.

I hate sparring gloves. It's amazing how much they limit what you can do... Or at least what I can do...
