ye thats the technique wev been taught actually, its very effective. At the refreshers fair i was really trying to take down (hungover) tom but he just did that every time. Im grateful we had matting down, as i went flying every time.

Tom, was this video-clip at your studio/school? Who was the Wing Chun student/teacher doing the punching in that video?
Was that a demo? or an actual Grappler trying to do ground tactics b4 getting wailed upon?

I found it on youtube. Not sure where its from, but I assume from the accompanying text on the site that the other guy is a Jiu Jitsu practitioner...

looks like he has a VT tee-shirt on. The technique is slightly different to what we teach at the uni his movement was almost identical but instead of controling the head with his first strike as we do he opted for a simply chain punching the head, which seems equally effective.
