Obviously with limited lesson time it is always hard to cover and train everything. A lot of these things are up to the individual in my opinion to train on there own out of lessons.
What do you think is lacking from our current format of lessons?

I personally get alot out of our lessons, even when sifu isnt there. The only thing id like to do more is train with people who dont practice wing chun so i can get more used to dealing with different opponenets n stuff, obviously thatll be done outside the lessons (by attacking my mum, baby cousins etc). Id like to do some more sparring, no contact/ contact, next year, if anyones interested.. dan, dave etc. I prefer to spar without headgear and gloves with control.

yer i think we need to do some sparing, preferably non contact so we last longer and think more about skill than purly agression.
i cant use head gear either but i do like gloves there for the just incase but i know if we strap goles on ad he loses control so mabee stick to noncontact. (rather than some sort of tap with gloves).
Ad and anyone else wanting to expand their martial ability should come along to a sunday session with me andy (*not wing chun andy) johnson and some other guys but ill tell you more about that in person when we are back in lancs or you can ask andy coz i think he might give us a hand at some demos in alex square.

yeah, i'm up for that. I hate headgear. Gloves are good though as a preventative measure...

Generally speaking, it is. You probably won't damage much...
